Nature's cupboard provides us with all our needs to make wonderful perfumes without using potentially harmful chemicals, so start your journey into the fascinating world of perfume, the marriage of spices, flowers, citrusses, grasses and woods of essential oils. This amazing workshop is either a One to One Course or available for up to three people. You will have my full attention throughout the day so you can create something wonderful while learning a huge amount about essential oils, fragrance oils and aroma chemicals. Beginning the day with the theory of perfume making and learning how to 'smell' and train your nose like a perfumier and ending the day with your very own signature bottle of perfume. We will be working with natural essential oils but I will have some aroma chemicals and fragrances for you to experiment with, as perfumes today are usually a blend of both. You can create as many perfume recipes as you like and then choose your favourite recipe to create your unique Eau de Pafum. We will start the day with coffee/tea and biscuits, talking about the different aromas you like. What we will be learning : - The theory of perfume making. - How to train your nose to the different smells. - Learn about different essential oils, fragrance oils and aroma chemicals that can be used. - Learn about top notes, middle notes and base notes. - How to balance a perfume with harmony. - Create your own perfume in a 50ml bottle to take home. - How to make an oil based perfume. - How to make a solid perfume. This is the first perfume making workshop to be held in Norfolk and has become so popular already. What's included in the price?
You take home the perfume you have created and a booklet on perfume making. Please bring your lunch with you, although I will provide coffee/tea and biscuits. I will provide everything you need, all you have to bring is yourself. The group will be kept small and is held in my farmhouse in North Norfolk.

Having formulated, made and sold my own skincare products for many years I now concentrate on teaching others to do the same. I will teach you to make your own soap, skincare and perfume and for anyone wishing to start their own business I will guide you through every stage from formulating, making, being legal, branding and marketing and making a profit. I teach in the comfort of my own home in the amazing countryside of North Norfolk. I also offer one to one workshops for those who prefer it.
