Bernadette Johnson reviewed: One day bangle/ring workshop

"My sister and I had a fantastic time today making our bangles. Jolene was very patient offering ideas, help , support and encouragement when needed but still allowing us to explore our own ideas. We came away with 3 great wearable pieces. I would definitely recommend Jolene’s classes. Hopefully we will return at some point to try earrings and/or pendants. Jolene also makes the best brownies 😋"

Margaret reviewed: Create a willow obelisk/plant support, birdfeeder and dragonfly/butterfly for your garden (Chandlers Ford, Nr Winchester- Hampshire)

"This was my birthday treat, creating bird feeder to learn techniques, then scaling up to create a garden obelisk in the afternoon. Jackie shared her knowledge of different willows and techniques - fascinating to see the different interpretations of the same tuition. The day was rounded off by creating 'dragonfly' shapes using similar techniques to making corn dollies. Feel quite satisfied today as I remembered how to make them and made two more 'dragonflies'. Thoroughly enjoyed the day doing something completely different."

Willow and Crafts responded:

"Hello Margaret, thankyou for the lovely review , I am glad that you were able to remember how to make the dragonflys it was a pleasure to meet you All the best Jacquie "

Rachel and Andrew reviewed: Blacksmithing Course for two in a traditional forge on Dartmoor

"If you are totally new to blacksmithing, or have dabbled a bit but want to build your confidence, I recommend this course in the highest terms. Greg could not have been more kind and patient. My partner and I are autistic and struggle a bit with motor skills and understanding at times (well, me more than him!). While able to explain things clearly and happy to support me as a total newbie, Greg was also able to enthuse with my partner over the craft and to assist him with a project of his own design. This flexibility was hugely appreciated. We had a truly fabulous and extremely memorable day, and both learnt some skills we can be proud of. We will display our projects with great excitement in our new home. Thank you so very much, Greg. "

Tracey young reviewed: Beginners 1-day 1-2-1 woodturning workshop for 1 person

"I came and did a Woodturning course with Simon for the day . I was a little bit apprehensive at first as I didn’t know or didn’t think that I would be able to do it. But Simon is a fantastic instructor and explained everything slowly to me . I was so proud of myself I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would highly recommend anyone to do this . When someone has the time and patience to explain things and has a passion In what they do .. It makes you want to be a part of it . Everybody in my family was highly impressed with what I achieved and made that day and so was I . Thank you Simon ."

Caitlin Avery reviewed: 1-to-1 Organic Skincare Workshop at Maid in the Meadow

"I’m giddy with excitement following my 1-day course with Allison. A whole new world has been unlocked. Allison generously imparted so much wisdom and guidance which has left me feeling brave enough to give it a try in my own kitchen. But putting the gift of knowledge to one side, can I just talk about gift of handmade products… I mean wowza… I came away with some really lovely facial creams and potions. They feel great on my skin and smell so good. Anyway in short, I loved it and can’t wait to kick start my new hobby. Oh gosh, and I must mention… what a lot of fun. So many laughs and enjoyable moments. Thank you Allison! "
