"Another thoroughly enjoyable fused glass workshop, I always enjoy the challenge. Main provides clear, well thought out instructions and is always on hand to discuss alternatives. He has built up an excellent library of examples to show the colours of the glass after firing and the change in the various types of glass after firing. He has also produced many finished examples to give participants an idea of what they can produce. "

"Dawn was fantastic, friendly and full of knowledge of her craft. She talked us through the different materials we'd be using, how best to work with them and guided us on our designs. The demonstrations were clear and easy to understand why she worked in that order. Looking at all of the samples really gave you a sense of how much you can achieve and how the different types of frit and stringer transformed during the processing in the kiln. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to go back and do more!"

"I cannot speak highly enough of th dried flower an resin tray workshop offered by Richard at The River Shop. I have now attended 6 separate workshops here and every one of them has been insightful, fun, creative and an education. Richard is a fantastic teacher; calm, reassuring, knowledgeable and trustworthy as well as a really top human being to hang out with! This class in particular was such a relaxing and immersive experence, really allowing me to flex my creative muscles in a calm space surrounded by like-minded people. The final piece is fab and is the perfect gift for any loved one in your life! I cannot recommend Richard and The River Shop highly enough and can't wait to return for my next learning experience soon!"

"A very enjoyable and relaxed creative day working together with Katy to explore the wonders of Nuno felting. Loved learning a new technique and experimenting with colours culminating in producing a beautiful and very cosy light weight scarf . The group was great, friendly and fun whilst Katy provided clear guidance and instruction allowing us to make our own individual pieces. The studio setting was spacious, airy and inspirational. A wonderful treat for anyone interested in making and having some creative fun."

Christie does have some printable images and was happy to print an image off for us "

"I booked the course as a birthday present and we had a fabulous time. We were absolute beginners and Miranda was brilliant, she explained each step of the stone sculpting and the choice of project was excellent. It was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and Miranda was on hand throughout to offer advice and direction. We left with completed sculptures that look great. We would absolutely love to attend another of Miranda's courses, and throughly recommend them."

"I would describe Iulia's workshop as peaceful, tranquil and personal. We were complete beginners at wreath making and a little apprehensive but were soon put at ease by Iulia's calm and professional demeanor. The space has a strong Autumnal vibe with plenty of examples of wreaths around to draw inspiration from. At least 20-30 different options of dried grass seeds, flowers and plants of all colours to choose from, me and my partner ended up making very warm and distinctive wreaths for the lounge wall and back door window"
