Georgie Whiting reviewed: Slate mosaic workshop at Jo Garden Art

"I had a wonderful day creating 2 pieces of slate art. This is the third course I've attended with the incredible guidance of Jo. She has that rare quality of of demonstrating the techniques required quickly but unrushed, using a gentle humour which helps you remember. Throughout the day she keeps an experienced eye on us all without being intrusive. She makes suggestions which normally turn out to be just what was needed and will help if you need it. At the end of the day you will take home totally individual work produced by you. I'm not particularly arty but I love having a go. This is the perfect environment for that. Jo is a gifted artist, a gentle and patient mentor and a lovely person. Don't think too long whether to sign up, her courses go so quickly. All this is set in her studio in her beautiful garden in the Suffolk countryside. I'm looking out for the next course I want to try. Thank you again Jo."

Jo Garden Art responded:

"wow Georgie, what a heart warming review - thank you so much. I'm typing this reply in my studio surrounded by dozens of drying marmox backing boards which I have sealed the edges of and prepared the hanging mounts. These will be ready for my next slate art workshops! Hope to see you again soon 🤗! Jo xx"
