Tony is an extremely experienced teacher & a thoroughly friendly fellow with a knack of telling you the right thing at the right time to keep you on track as you learn the basics of MIG welding By the end of the course my abilities and comprehension of welding techniques had increased exponentially My interest in welding is from an arts rather than a fabrication angle, and Tony took this on board, and was able to advise on the right sort of equipment for me to make the most of my new found skills, and this, of course, is an enormous help to a novice Thank you Tony!"

"I’ve just completed the triple ring course with Ali. I am absolutely amazed at how well my ring turned out! I’ve learned so much on this day course. How to accurately work out the measurements, cutting, sanding, quenching, pickling, polishing and using different types of solder, tools and techniques. I was amazed at how much goes into the art of jewellery making. I don’t think I will look at it the same way again. I can’t wait to go on the next course."

"Went to Glenmedini yesterday for this women’s carpentry course…. a brilliant day. Jess is a great teacher and I learnt so much, including that I have been using a saw wring for about 50 years!! All of the tools and techniques were explained and demonstrated very clearly and we then put it all into practice building something to take home. I chose to make a window herb box…. it’s not perfect as I still need to work on my skills but I am very proud of it. Thanks for such a good day Jess"

"Another enjoyable and relaxing workshop. Suzy is an excellent teacher who gives clear explanations and supports each attendee to go at their own pace. All materials were provided and there was a wide choice of designs and colours. We all made three books on the day and brought home an almost-completed fourth one with everything we need to finish it at home. The handouts are very clear and easy to follow. Highly recommended."

"My sister and I had such a nice couple of hours on the ring making course with Sarah! Very relaxed, no-pressure morning and Sarah explained everything super clearly and was happy to help everyone when needed. The only thing I'd suggest is maybe a couple more workshop direction signs from the lower carpark (though Sarah's instructions on the booking are clear in hindsight, the site is a bit of a warren and the couple of people we asked for directions said they got asked frequently). We would definitely go again though! :)"
