"Did the design and make course the weekend of 11th and 12th November. Only been on 1 day courses (2 in total) before and felt a little out of my depth to start with, but with a little help from Adrian and Andy soon got back into it. These two guys are amazing, so knowledgeable and helpful. Really put you at ease and make you feel like one of a group. Adrian’s wife Debbie provided meals etc throughout the course and once again her food was to die for. The others on the course were all really nice and some amazing work was done on the 2 days. The main conversations seemed to revolve around boys and their toys, from Lego to cars. Really nice bunch of guys and fun to be around. Well done everyone and a massive THANK YOU to Adrian, Andy and Debbie, I certainly wouldn’t go anywhere else. 👍🏼👍🏼 "

"I had a fantastic afternoon being tutored by Sheila in how to make a pair of large silver patterned hooped earrings e.g cutting the silver, hammering on the pattern, shaping, filing, soldering, polishing earrings. Sheila is an excellent teacher and I’m coming back next year to make a silver bangle as I enjoyed it immensely. I would highly recommend this class to anyone."

"Great afternoon with Rebecca who is a knowledgeable and patient teacher. We learned two different techniques to make a pendant. Fun and sociable. It was lovely to come away with handmade silver jewellery. 8 people felt like a big group though...harder to get everything done in the time."

The pre course information was helpful, especially with finding the venue which is quite remote but well set up. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this course and will definitely be interested in attending another one to make something bigger to brighten up my garden."

"Jo was very friendly and welcoming, and with a little help from Andy, guided us through each step while managing to ensure that the project was still all our own work. We were kept topped up with coffee and biscuits, and by the end of the day produced a class of brilliant, but individual Hares. I would definitely recommend this course, and hope to book another of Jo's in the future."

He was patient and attentive during all of the practical sessions and regularly came into the booth to guide and teach, whilst also leaving enough time and space for practicing. "I enjoyed this course immensely. I loved the fact that you could bring along your own machine or borrow one of the beginner machines to make sure sewing is for you! There is plenty of space for each participant and a kitchen and facilities all on the level with disabled access and parking. All important for me. The team from booking to Marian the tutor are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. I have to mention the cost too. For 14 hours tuition, refreshments and an included pattern, it is excellent value for money. I like the fact it is over seven weeks and have formed some friendships as well as had something fun to look forward to."

"We had an incredible day of making our stained glass. Aside from it being a lot of fun, we learnt a lot and had support all along the way in case we started to go awry. It was a personal setting - the two of us and one other couple, both of us having our own instructor, so at no point did we feel neglected. Plus, a free lunch lovingly cooked to keep us going!"
