I learnt so much in such a short time and have been inspired to learn how to use a sewing machine. Venue was well equipped and lovely refreshments included. Great communication and value for money. "A fabulous two-day course. Lizzy was an excellent teacher and so attentive to the various demands of the group. The Swallow Barn was a lovely comfortable environment, despite the atrocious weather outside. Annie's catering was plentiful and delicious. I'm so tempted to do the course again in the future."

Sue Tudge reviewed: Two day stained glass workshop - lead panels or garden sculpture

"Gigha’s workshop space is like an Aladdin’s cave, every inch filled with inspiring treasures. Having signed up for a foil workshop ( which was also brilliant) I spotted the leaded panels leaning against the wall and just had to return. The two day workshop was very well organised. Gigha gives clear demonstrations and instructions and loads of help if needed. A yummy lunch is also included as well as drinks ( and biscuits) all through the day. The 2 days flew by and I am now the proud owner of a beautiful panel. Can’t wait to put it in the garden when the weather improves. Would definitely recommend the course . Brilliant. "

"I am currently reupholstering a small buttoned back chair. Peter is teaching me the traditional methods rather than the “modern” that I discovered on stripping it. He is a good tutor, very patient and certainly a gifted upholsterer. Would thoroughly recommend the course."

"I highly recommend Kami at May Designs, she made me a beautiful copper ring that fits perfectly. It’s very reasonably priced, comfortable to wear and goes perfectly with my existing ring. Kami had also fashioned sustainable packaging to send it to me, something that I very much appreciate. She was extremely quick to respond to all correspondence, and was very easy to talk to. I’d definitely buy from her again."

"Georgie was brilliant, she’s very knowledgeable and encouraging. Great day, good quality leather and buckles etc which makes a big difference. Lunch provided and lots of refreshments. "What a great day! We learnt the basics before lunch with a small project, and worked on bigger projects (or on our own idea) after lunch. It was great all over. The instructor was really skilled, and helpful as well. He left us work on our own, but always kept an eye on us, and answered questions when it was needed, helped when that was needed, and saved the project when I was about to ruin it :) I can recommend it to anyone. (It doesn't require too much strength at all, so really, I would recommend it to anyone!)"
