Learn how to make casts from natural objects and use them to create beautiful fine silver jewellery using silver clay.
This silver clay workshop is ideal for beginners, and you'll get the chance to experiment with clay and make a beautiful silver clay pendant.
Guided by artist Rebecca Lucy, this is your chance to escape from the outside world and get creatively inspitred by the natural world.
During the course of the workshop you'll learn how to make molds of natural objects such as shells and use them to cast a beautiful piece of silver jewellery. The workshop is relaxed and friendly and lasts approx 2.5 hours.
Over the course of the workshop you'll learn:
*An introduction to silver clay and it's properties
*Creating a mold from natural objects such as shells
*Adding texture using natural objects such as leaves and twigs
*How to fire and finish your magical creation
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
*Enough to make one or two small pendants
*Use of tools and equipment
I will provide shells and leaves for you to make molds from, however you are also welcome to bring your own. items should ideally be 1-2cm in length.
Workshops are kept small and friendly. By the end of the course you will have produced a beautiful piece of silver jewellery to take home and enjoy.
