Sarah L reviewed: Half day private jewellery tuition for 1 - 4 people

"I highly recommend this workshop - we all had a fabulous time, learnt alot and ended up with beautiful rings....I can't believe we managed to do so much in such a relatively short time. Sam was fantastic and generous in sharing his knowledge. He was also incredibly patient with the younger contingency in the group - book it if you're interested in making silver jewellery you won't be disappointed!"

Emily reviewed: Crochet Worshop - All levels at Tandem Crafts, Stourbridge

"I went to see Anne for a crochet lesson and it was absolutely brilliant. The lesson is 1:1 and Anne is very patient and helpful, she provides the materials needed taking the time to figure out which hook and yarn would suit me best, she also offers tea and biscuits which is lovely. I struggle with fiddly things but Anne was happy to show me as many times as I needed. In one lesson I managed to begin a scarf and I have been able to continue at home on my own. Once I have finished this I will definitely see Anne again to progress onto harder projects and I will bring my daughter along too as Anne will teach children ages 7+. It was lovely to chat with Anne and she made me feel very at ease."

Tandem Crafts responded:

"Thank you for your i kind words. This is why we do what we do. We love passing on our passion for crafting. Look forward to seeing you soon"

Lesley reviewed: Two leather long stitch journals in a day

"I came to this course a complete beginner as far as book binding is concerned, my friend suggested that I give it a go. I am so happy to have come away with 2 handmade books that will make brilliant unique gifts. So often when doing something new the first go is not quite right but not in this case. The day was well paced, all tools and supplies were to hand. I liked the small group size as Lynne was always able to give you the help you needed without a wait and the atmosphere was relaxed. Lynne hosted the day in her well equipped, nicely lit studio with drinks and cake. I also liked her recycling ethos and tips on ways of finding tools without spending a fortune. "

Lynne Friel responded:

"Thank you Lesley. I thoroughly enjoyed the day too, I love seeing people go away with their unique journals and new skills. Best wishes, Lynne"
