"An absolutely fantastic weekend, cannot recommend highly enough. It was remarkable for me, with no real experience, to take the raw materials and (under Arian's patient wisdom), turn them into a beautiful and unique knife that I am genuinely proud of and should last a lifetime. It was fascinating to get a real insight into the 'why' of each stage and process, rather than just following instructions. Arian ensures that you come away with a real appreciation of the craft and the reasons for each step or decision. He genuinely cares for the work being undertaken, and wants to connect with the people participating. It was very refreshing amid the busyness of life to have a weekend in the quiet of the workshop to focus on a single, practical task and objective; not have your attention pulled in lots of different directions! Good for the soul."

"The five week course with Fehmi during the school summer holiday period was the perfect family holiday activity. Fehmi encouraged us to explore our individual ideas under his expert guidance. His studio is the perfect artist's workspace - lots of natural lighting, large work surfaces and a super-organised and extensive collection of materials to work with, paired with a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. We were inspired by Fehmi's own amazing and very distinctive pieces and hope to visit his next exhibition. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Fehmi!"

He gave me plenty of advice and tips to help me complete a project at home, even stripping the drop in seat for me ready for me to tackle. "The Enamelling course was really well organised from the very beginning to the end of the day! There were 4 of us and it was the perfect ratio! we got to practice with test pieces before we committed to our final design.
