"I attend Lyndsey’s card class once a month. Lyndsey is very patient with beginners and more advanced, we all get treated the same ! She is very well organised, very helpful, plenty of teas & coffees, I would recommend anyone to go and attend whatever your level of crafting. You can also buy stampin Up products from Lyndsey’s catalogue, which I do from time to time , Thanks for Great Classes"

"Chris was an excellent teacher, hands on when we needed help but also let us get on and practice what we’d just learnt. We finished our key rings early so was able to apply what we’d just learnt to making a poker for our fire and put a scroll and twist into it. Chris had great communication with us prior to our course, I would highly recommend him! Well worth the wait!"

"My wife and children had bought me a wood lathe to occupy me in my retirement. Having set my workshop up and having recently retired I felt now was the time to get a thorough grounding in the basic techniques from which I could develop my skills. The day with Mark was one of the most enjoyable days training I have had for a long time and suited the way I learn perfectly. The day was full of anecdotes, explanations of theory and practical side of the tools and turning, as well as an appropriate level of hands on work on the tooling and lathe. The extensive information provided verbally was complimented with a full set of notes that will form a great aide memoir for the future. Mark is extremely knowledgeable, patient and personable: the day flew by. Following the course, Mark has provided an e-mail summarising the various points of interest from the day, and detail on where specific items of tooling, in which I showed interest, could be purchased. The course was extremely good value. Mark – many thanks"

"I spent such an interesting and engaging evening with Rebecca as she showed me the basics of weaving and then let me loose one of her looms to try out a variety of patterns. I left with written details and a lovely sample of my evening's work. I would highly recommend Rebecca as a friendly, informative and encouraging teacher. I plan to go back!"

"Attended with my sister and we made up a small group of 5 students on the beginners workshop. Great teacher who also made it fun! Anita has a real passion and knowledge for her craft, answering all our questions and giving invaluable tips. Bought a candlemaking kit from here and went straight home and began making our own candles. Would definitely visit again!"

"What a fantastic course in a beautiful location! We all had different ideas and the interaction that Peter got between us I think helped everyone improve their designs. Mine was certainly challenging but with the expert guidance provided is now a lovely piece of furniture that many people comment on. It is even more comfortable to sit on than expected (although I definately went more for appearance!). I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn more complicated techniques and produce a quality piece of furniture at the same time."

The pleasure of learning from such a professional craftsman and teacher was wonderful, taking me through safety, choosing and using wood, to different and new techniques of tool use, and sharpening, throughout sharing his wisdom patiently for a whole day. This was everything I had hoped for and more, expanding my knowledge and leaving me as excited as ever over creating something both beautiful, traditional and useful."

"Just spent the most wonderful day with Jo making a variety of the best candles ever. They are more than on par with the very expensive best known candles! Jo is not only a really warm, lovely, delightful person but her knowledge and willingness to share is truly amazing. I was so looking forward to the day and it excelled in every way. I knew nothing about candlemaking at all but having met Jo and buying her candles at Clare craft show l was so impressed with the high quality and standard that l just had to have a try myself. I can honestly say its THE best workshop I've ever been on. I wish you continuing success Jo in your amazing business and happy house hunting."

"My wife bought me a 1 day one to one course at the forge and I was very excited to get started, the experience did not disappoint I had an unbelievable day. I have to admit I’d built the whole thing up in my mind (as I’ve wanted to do a forging course for years) it far exceeded my expectations and Alex was an enthusiastic and helpful tutor! We made a pair of forging tongs, a letter knife, bottle opener, coat hook and tried some forge welding I also got a “get it got an hit it” t’shirt!! Wish I could do another (hint, hint mrs Snuggs)"

"Lynne and I came for a bangle and ring workshop. We had a fabulous day learning some of the techniques of silver and copper wear. Endless drinks, lots of gossip and tale telling. We managed not to burn the place down with the blowtorch and left with some individual, unique, beautiful pieces. Thank you so much for a great day. We are looking forward to our next adventure."
