Table Loom Weaving Workshop - Dobby & Rose
Description
This Table Loom workshop will allow you to try weaving various weave structures on a pre-warped 8 shaft Table Loom and give you the basics of how fabric is constructed. You will be able to choose from a variety of British yarns in gorgeous countryside colours, to design and weave your very own piece of fabric which you can take home. With only four Table Looms running per workshop, it allows hands on help and freedom to ask as many questions as you like. During the workshop, Rebecca will go through the weaving process, telling you how the loom has been set up and give an explanation of different structures you can try during the session. Around 30-40 minutes later, you will be able to start weaving. You will be able to start designing your own piece of fabric, using any yarns that you can find within the studio!
What's included in the price?
All materials and tools used within the session are included. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided (maybe one of the most important parts!) A booklet with notes and technical information.
