Nikki Bennett reviewed: One day introduction to glass fusing in Medway, Kent

"I had a brilliant day at Bev's glass fusing course. After purchasing a few Christmas pieces myself from Bev in the past as well as commissioning Bev for a fairly large glass centrepiece which has pride of place in our bathroom, I thought I would love to have a go myself. Bev was an excellent tutor and very patient with us complete beginners. I had to stay behind at the end of the day to finish my work (just like school, I was chatting too much!) and I could not wait for my 2 pieces of glass work to be fired in the kiln. It was really thrilling to see how it looked. I made an emerald green (with sparkly bits) cheese platter and a cream and berry coloured curved small dish. It was more difficult than I thought it would be, but totally fascinating and the time flew by. I'd love to do another session!"

Beverley Bunn Glass Art responded:

"I love it when a customer gets the glass bug and wants to learn to fuse themselves! Thank you Nikki for your lovely feedback - it was great to have you in the studio and you're welcome back any time! Bev x"

"Had an absolutely brilliant time on Anna's workshop. So inspiring and super friendly. Anna is a great teacher and you can be the most non-creative individual like myself and still come out with an absolute gem of work (if i do say so myself L.O.L.!) Have already booked Anna to do my daughter's birthday party which she is super-excited about. xx"

Jan Green reviewed: Jewellery making at the Cheshire School of Glass

"An Excellent course! There were 4 of us on the course and we had such a good time. It was 2 days of indulgence and relaxing. Their were a lot of materials including dicroich glass. Jenny gave all of us jewellery findings for our work and showed us how to attach them. Lunch and drinks provided in abundance. I will definitely be purchasing a microwave kiln , which we tried... although most of our work was fired in a conventional kiln for speed. Thanks Jan"

"I attended the glass fusing day course with a couple of friends and we had a fabulous time. Bev is a natural teacher who guides you to make fantastic works or art but she also gives you free reign to explore your inner artist. I made a glass totem with a matching bowl which I’m very proud to say people often ask me where I have bought them! Thoroughly recommend this course, you will leave with more than you came with."
