Have you ever fancied learning crochet or do you just want a refresher on skills you learned from your Gran or Aunt all those years ago? Here’s your chance to brush up on those doubles, trebles and chains, and create a piece of work mastered by yourself.
The aim of this online course is to provide you with a complete beginners tool kit. From the 4 basic stitches, how to join using both sewing and crochet techniques, working in the round and in rows to lining a project bag.
You will need to have on hand the following;

400g of yarn in double knit (DK), in 3 or 4 colours
Fabric of your choice, the measurement of which can be calculated towards the end of the online course.
If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
You will be given access to a dedicated Facebook group, where you can work at your own pace.
There will be 7 downloadable PDF tutorials that will accompany a series of instructional videos, spaced out in units.
There will be tutors on hand to assist you, and we will even schedule in weekly 1 hour video conference calls to answer all your questions.

Faye gave me top up crochet lessons on my own projects. She was patient, supportive, very encouraging and gave me individualised support. From these sessions I’ve been inspired to take on ambitious projects and explore different yarns. Thank you Faye.
Response from Unravel & Unwind CIC:Thank you for your kind comments. I look forward to hearing about and seeing your future projects.
Faye taught me to crochet, she's the most patient person I know, and the most relaxed teacher I've ever had. I've seen so much improvement in my work these last few months and my classes on a Monday are the highlight of my week.
Response from Unravel & Unwind CIC:You are improving steadily and I'm glad you enjoy your weekly meet ups. I look forward to guiding you through you next projects.
Faye was very calm and patient with me as a non-crocheter and soon had me turning a ball of yarn into a granny square. I would happily highly recommend her and the course's she runs.
Response from Unravel & Unwind CIC:Thank you, it's my aim to get as many people having a go as possible.
Before Faye taught me how to crochet, I knew basically nothing. With her help I am super confident with what I can do now and nothing makes me happier than going to my lessons each Monday :)
Response from Unravel & Unwind CIC:And nothing makes me happier when you ask to print off patterns you've found. You are progressing well and I see a passion in you that I recognise. May you continue to grow.
Faye taught me to Crochet. Her teaching methods are very easy going and relaxed. So much so that she then taught my daughter at age 8 and she struggles with mobility issues and fine motor skills. Under Faye's guidance granny squares were coming off her hooks at a lightspeed.
Response from Unravel & Unwind CIC:I have my grandmother to thank for my relaxed approach to teaching crochet, and my time working in schools to thank for my approach to guiding children.
I came to Faye having started to self teach at home, because I had an issue with the popcorn stitch. Since then we’ve tried lace crochet, arigurumi , crochet by graph and many other things. It’s not just learning to crochet, it’s making friends too. Faye always has the answers and I’m very glad I found the group.
Response from Unravel & Unwind CIC:Thank you. I don't always know the answer but I certainly know how to find out.
