"I spent the most enjoyable day with Ruth Blackford doing the experimental mono printing course, in a delightful garden studio. Everything was beautifully prepared for us. Ruth provided images, or you could use our own designs. She taught us a variety of ways to print, my favourite was using the tissue paper for chine colle. We had a delicious lunch, tea, coffee, and lemon drizzle cake. The day just flew by, and now I want to do the two day collograph course. Thank you Ruth, you are a very talented lady, and an excellent tutor."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my full day lampworking workshop with Suzanne. I had some limited experience of lampworking before and it was great to be able to build upon my previous knowledge and try lots of new techniques. Suzanne is a brilliant teacher, extremely knowledgable and very calm and patient. She was able to demonstrate whilst allowing me lots of time at the torch also. Suzanne was encouraging and reassuring during the day as well as giving praise and helpful suggestions too. Suzanne's workshop is lovely, bright and calm, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. Also, I enjoyed looking at some of Suzanne's fabulous creations that are on display in the workshop. All in all I have a wonderful day and am very pleased with the beads I created. Thank you Suzanne!"

"I had a great day printing with Ruth. She is a very talented lady and a great teacher. Apart from the tuition I was kept fed and watered all day. I didn't want to take a break as I was enjoying myself so much but I'm glad I did stop as lunch was lovely. I learnt new skills and was pleased with what I produced. Gaynor was fantastic in her instruction and helped me with understanding what I could reasonably achieve within my time at the workshop. "Beverley welcomes you into her home and studio to share her passion and creativity with fused glass. I booked a celebration Family event for four, after a brief intro, including safety we were onto practical hands on glass cutting before making our first piece a sun catcher. Throughout the day Beverley gave great instruction, encouragement and found everyone’s hidden talents including my own which is very absent. I can’t wait to see our finished pieces after fusing in the kiln and finding a place to display them at home. Don’t hesitate if you are booking to go on your own, you will be so pleased you went and you will have a great day. Learning glass fusing with Beverley is addictive, give it a go."

He is really easy to talk to and we had a lot of fun discussing plenty of other topics throughout the day as we were forging our keyrings. The pacing was excellent, and we always felt welcome to ask any questions we had. Would recommend this to anyone!"
