We are the candle making experience company. Our workshops are held in our purpose built studio in Marlow. Come along to one of our workshops to understand more about the different types of candles that are sold in the UK, then learn the skills to make your own using natural soy and beeswax! This workshop will show you how to make beautiful container, floating and rolled candles. Choose from a variety of fragrances and dyes to personalise your very own candle range. Workshop run by a “Chandler” (a professional candle-maker), this course will cover: -Introduction to candlemaking through the ages -Overview of the different types of wax, wicks, dyes, fragrances and candles -Demonstration of 4 different candlemaking techniques -Using individual melters, melt two types of wax, add dyes, fragrance oils and wicks to make four types of candle. -Finish your candles off with beautiful packaging and decorations. -Participants take home their own candle creations and a user guide to enable them to recreate other candles at home. -CLP legislation ********************************************************************* We offer you lots of options, so you can experience any or all of our workshops and never make the same candle twice! You will take home with you: Pillar candle Fragranced tin container candle 6 Floating candles packaged in a pretty organza bag Rolled beeswax candles Several tealight candles After the workshop we will also email to you our candle-making guide. For Christmas and Easter we theme the candles you will make.

Maker
We are the candle-making experience company. The company was started by Sarah Ditchfield, who has a HR & training background. Following a candle-making Christmas present she received one year Sarah discovered a passion for candle-making and later combined this with her experience in training and development to set up Candle by Events. Today the company runs candle-making events, parties and workshops across the UK. Sarah's second book "Making Candles" was published in April 2017 by Search Press.
