Alex reviewed: Sew a waterfall collar coat!

"Fantastic course! My sewing machine skills are fairly basic and I was able to make a lovely stylish coat during this workshop. My friends can't believe I made it! Craig is an excellent instructor and really knows his stuff. He breaks things down into small steps and takes you through each one, demonstrating on a machine where needed. He is very patient and despite there being a lot to get through in four hours, I never felt rushed. The workshop also helped me to understand how to sew sleeves and pockets. I would definitely recommend this waterfall coat workshop and look forward to trying out another one of Craig's sewing workshops."

"This was a birthday present from my spouse and I took my BFF along for the experience. We are complete beginners and had a fabulous day woodturning in a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Simon was kind and patient in his tuition, ensuring we had help when we needed it. Simon knows his craft, is obviously experienced in teaching and ensured we came away with beautiful, unique honey drizzlers and bowls to be proud of. Louise and Simon could not have made the day any better. Thank you both."

Karen Shewan reviewed: Exploring Collage - workshop with Julie Galante

"I loved doing this course. Julie generously shares her skills and tips, and the online resources you have access to are excellent. The course is suitable for both absolute beginners who want to get in touch with and develop their creative sides, and more experienced artists who want to use collage as a springboard to unlock ideas. I've been a practising artist for many years but recently had a creative block; collage has helped me to break thorough this. I can highly recommend this course."

Airtily responded:

"Thank you! I'm so glad you found this course useful. Sometimes a diversion into a different medium is just what we need to get past a creative block."

Sarah B reviewed: Needle felted toadstools live online workshop, wools and needles supplied

"Learn from the best! I absolutely loved my online class with Gretel - as well as being a wonderfully talented artist she's a great teacher, able to explain things in different ways until you understand. I found working through Zoom very comfortable and easy - Gretel is able to switch her camera so you can see a close up of her hands and can describe exactly the subtle feel of what you're after. I was delighted with what I could achieve and would highly recommend the class."

"Thank you very much, I’m so glad you enjoyed it and I had fun too. Your toadstool turned out beautifully!"
