About the Course

Beginners' wood carving course at Lincoln Castle.

Come give Wood Carving a go!

On this introductory day course you will have a brief look at the range of carving tools, how to get them razor sharp - and keep them like that. You will also learn about the beauty of wood grain and how to recognise grain direction. You will then carve a set piece carving which will get you familiar with the tools and techniques and you will be able to take home a small work of art.

This course will run 10:00 to 16:00. Click through to book your place!

This course is suitable for beginners age 16 +. Please wear comfortable casual clothes with closed toe shoes.
