About the Course

Reindeer Making Workshop - a one day traditional wood working course
9:30am-4:00pm

Get into the Christmas spirit with your very own, hand-made rustic Rudolph!

This course will provide you with all the materials, tools and know-how and guide you through the process of making an eco-friendly, rustic, wooden reindeer full of character, which can sit proudly in your garden or home. No two reindeer are the same and yours will be personal to you. The course will have a fun and laid back feel to it so why not come along and have a go!

It’s up to you which reindeer you choose to make, I personally prefer Rudolph but here are some other suggestions:
The reindeer with one eye higher than the other: Isaiah!
The reindeer with no eyes: No-eyed-deer!
The three-legged reindeer: Eileen!
The reindeer with three humps on its back: Humphrey
Whichever one you choose, it will be yours to keep and take home.

All the wood is sourced locally from Ecclesall Woods and is cut as part of their normal woodland management during coppicing or glade creation and outside of the bird nesting season. So, cut down your carbon footprint and increase your reindeer one by coming along to our Rustic Reindeer course!
