Course Start DatesTuesday 7th April 2020
About the Course
Join wildlife and landscape photographer John Howells for a full day photography workshop in the Italian Gardens at Great Ambrook. This is a unique opportunity to improve your photography skills whilst discovering this early 1900s Grade II listed garden. As yet unrestored, the garden features include paths, pools and rills, a 30m pergola, tennis pavilion and the remains of an ogee-roofed summerhouse. Many structures, vistas, textures as well as trees and wildlife to photograph.
Ideal for beginners and improvers, these are day workshops starting at 10am and running until 4pm with a break for lunch. After a brief introduction to John, photography and to your camera, you will make your way around the gardens to practice. John will also be available after the workshop if you have any extra questions.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
The gardens are in the very early stages of restoration and there are currently no facilities on site. Lunch is not included, so please bring a packed lunch and we will either picnic in the gardens or we may arrange to visit a local pub.
