Description

Spending time on a creative task is both a pleasure and a joy. It allows us to stop and take time out of our busy lives. It calms and relaxes us and provides opportunities to refocus; creativity engages our imagination and stimulates us.

However not everyone knows how to get a creative task underway, and it can be difficult not knowing where to start or even what to create.
Join us on the 18th October in our beautiful Long barn for a creative boost.
We will explain and demonstrate how to make lively marks on different papers, draw from observation and imagination and learn how to select and simplify images and designs. you will also draw with scissors and explore composition.

We will explore flowers, plants and foliage displayed in a range of pots, vases and jugs in a light and playful way.

The workshop will be delivered by Alison Butler and Liz Wellby: Alison has over 25 years of experience as a textile designer and book illustrator, whilst Liz is an experienced fine artist, teacher and maker, with a particular interest in print.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
