Description
Weekly oil painting classes for all abilities. Lee will work with you to identify the areas in which you can best improve your technical skills and give you the confidence to construct successful pictures across all genres. This will include technical skills of handling the paint and other materials, composition and colour theory You will learn through a combination of demonstrations, exercises and projects alongside analysis and discussion of your previous work and the work of other artists. These classes are intended for beginners and intermediate oil painters but will assume you have reasonable drawing skills. I keep the classes small so that you will get lots of individual attention.
What's included in the price?
You can bring your own paints and materials or I can provide them at cost price. I primarily work in oils and would recommend you use those though I am happy for you to use whichever medium you prefer. Tea, coffee, biscuits included. We have a fully equipped kitchen for you to prepare your lunch.

I am a printmaker and oil painter based on the beautiful Brecon Beacons. I trained at The Putney School of Art followed by The Welsh Academy of Art, where I am now a tutor. I love drawing and painting all sorts of things, people, places, animals, plants...If it lives I like to capture it's essence in a work of art.
