"100% recommendation. Lee is a very friendly and professional teacher. We were only four students, and Lee gave us all his attention nonstop. He is a great artist himself, and the studio was large and very inspiring, fully equipped with all sorts of prints, presses, and other artists media. All four of us managed to print fabulous prints, and the tools and materials provided were of the highest quality. The whole experience was intense, humorous and creative. "

Although I have experience of creating mono linoprints, Lee explained the process of colour reduction linoprinting so well I now have the confidence to try colour printing in my own studio. "Lee is not only a lovely guy, patient and easy company, he is also an incredibly talented artist. Considering how short a time he has been doing lino printing, his work is accurate, clever and inspiring so I always felt in good hands. The workshop is beautiful - an old school house which has been filled with incredible paintings. The printing room at the back of the school had a log fire which Lee tended to to keep us cosy. It was a fantastic day, I think everyone should do it!"

"My partner bought me a place on Lee's Reduction Linocut printing course for my birthday as it is a technique I wanted to learn. I had a brilliant day in the studio with two other students and worked to produce my first 3 layer print. Lee is a great teacher, friendly and patient, and I thoroughly enjoyed my day. "My friend and I had a great day at Cwmdu studios with Lee. He’s a gifted teacher. We all produced something we felt really pleased with and had a really enjoyable time doing it. "We were able to get on with it straight away but Lee was always there to guide and help when it was needed. He was a great teacher who made it a lot of fun. I was working hard all day to get my print finished and it took my full concentration - a great way to escape from your worries for a while. It’s possible to produce some decent art without any experience. I loved it - many thanks!"

"A friend found this course online. Along with two others, my girlfriend and I booked as it looked to be interesting and also a lot of fun…..it was and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We learned a lot of new skills and have possible ideas for our own Christmas cards next year! Lee is friendly, easy to approach and leads the sessions well. He can draw an artist out of even the least artful of us…speaking for myself of course! Thank you Lee! "A really enjoyable day with Lee where I learned a great deal about how to approach linocut composition, mixing of colours, use of the roller and how to use all of these skills to enhance the linocut itself.
