Mindfulness of Drawing
Contact course provider
About the Course
This three day retreat is suitable for beginners and experienced alike. Its emphasis is on cultivating an awareness of the focus and stillness in yourself when practicing drawing. When you engage in the physical process of creativity, your breath often slows down to a restful rhythm, allowing your mind to quieten and rest. Developing an attentiveness to what you are experiencing is one of the cornerstones to mindfulness, which when practiced over a period of time can help you stay more anchored in yourself during the turbulence of everyday life.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
A mixture of basic drawing materials and paper, tea, coffee and the beautiful environment of Parndon Mill.
