On this one-day introductory interior design course, you’ll learn how to create your own A3 design board for a room of your choice, giving you the skills, solutions and inspiration you need to tackle the rest of your house too.
Join me, Dawn Manwaring, at my home studio in the historic city of Norwich as I walk you step-by-step through the design process, helping you find your personal style, choose your layout, and select your furnishings and accessories. We’ll also take a trip to a local department store for inspiration, so you’re sure to come away with loads of great ideas.
With group size limited to a maximum of three, you’ll get plenty of one-to-one attention, learning together in a relaxed, sociable environment where no experience is required. Or why not come along with a friend or family member – this course makes the perfect gift for someone special.

My rooms have always looked a bit hotch-potch but I feel so much more confident thanks to Dawn's excellent patience and clear explanations. I enjoyed learning about mixing colours and especially liked the visit to a near-by store to look at fabrics and furniture. Dawn's own house gave me lots of ideas and I can't wait to start re-designing my home. I spent a lovely day learning something new and would highly recommend the course.
Response from DM Interior Design:Thank you Angela! I'm so pleased you enjoyed the day and felt you'd come away with lots of inspiration. It was a pleasure meeting you and I wish you well with your lounge and any future projects in your home. Do let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Had a really lovely day looking at interior design ideas and would highly recommend this course. We had great tuition from the friendly and knowledgeable Dawn and it was good to build on some of the ideas we had previously discussed before the course. We were treated to some lovely cake and fruit and then a trip into the city to look at samples and to have lunch. A great day. I feel really inspired. Thank you Dawn.
I attended this course as I wished to learn about room design and colour. It was such a fun course and Dawn made us feel all at ease, and was extremely hospitable.
Having a room and theme in mind helped me choose colours and textures. The way that Dawn explained about light and colour was so interesting and sparked my imagination.
I would recommend this course to anyone who is unsure about designing rooms in their houses, you will leave being confident in choosing the right theme and colours.
I really enjoyed this day with Dawn. She is so knowledgeable and creative and the workshop was bursting with information, ideas, tips, innovation and creativity. It was relaxed and great fun too, and Dawn tailored it to our needs. I would highly recommend this.
