About the Course
Our courses are aimed at those of you who have never painted furniture before, or who have flirted-with but would like to develop their skills. The courses will cover the most basic techniques, along with a generous dose of furniture painting ideas in a relaxed manner. The intention is to cover everything that you need to know to get started in re-styling furniture and the workshop will be very much hands on.
Whether you just want to refurbish an item for your own personal use, or you may be planning a start-up business in retailing painted furniture, the courses will be planned and delivered, so as not to confuse, and provide you with a good grounding to branch out on your own.
We shall be using The London Vintage Paint Company producing high quality paints, using a selection of their 42 shades, working with the Pure Smooth product.
Our Workshops with cover:-
Dry brushing techniques
Appliques and stencilling
Methods for upscaling your project
The use of different paints for specific projects

Course notes will be provided as will writing material for you to make those detailed notes specific to your own requirements. The workshops will be managed by owners Celia Perrin & Chris Sweet. Their services are rated as 5* star on Houzz Interiors UK
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
