Spend a relaxing day or half-day at our Christmas craft workshop in Cambridge. Create handmade decorations for your Christmas tree or to give as wonderful gifts. Take your completed decorations home the same day. 🌈 Use beautiful coloured glass to create festive tree hangings such as robins, stars, Christmas trees, snowflakes, holly leaves, baubles, or even your own designs. Choose your preferred option when booking. Limited seats per session: - Full Day: 10:30–16:30 (best value; complete 4 - 5 ornaments). - Half Day (Taster): 10:30–13:30 (finish 2 - 3 ornaments). You'll learn how to cut stained glass easily and safely, how to apply copper foil and solder, how to patina/polish/finish your work, how to attach hanging loops so your decorations are fit for the Christmas tree. 🌼 Expert Guidance: Our qualified and experienced instructor will guide you every step of the way. FAQs

Everything! All tuition, tools, glass and other supplies are included, as well as unlimited tea, coffee, biscuits and refreshments. We do not charge extra for glass and there are no hidden costs.

You'll learn traditional stained glass techniques, including glass cutting, assembly and soldering. By the end you'll have created a stunning panel or sun catcher to display in your window or garden.

No prior experience is required! Our workshop is designed for all skill levels, including beginners. Our experienced instructor will guide you through each step, and we have patterns you can make which are suitable for a range of skill levels.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Please also bring your glasses if you use them for close work. Consider bringing an apron or an old shirt to protect your clothes from glass fragments. We have spare aprons with us on the day and can provide you with one if needed.

Lunch is not provided, however there will be several scheduled breaks in which you can enjoy your own packed lunch, or explore the variety of lunch options nearby. There will be a variety of biscuits, cakes and hot drinks available and included in the course cost.

The workshop runs from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with options to stay all day or for half a day. This allows you to immerse yourself in the stained glass artistry, but there will also be lots of time for lunch and refreshment breaks. Half day runs from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM.

Our workshop is suitable for participants aged 16 and above. Younger participants are very welcome however, and may join if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Absolutely. You will most likely finish your project same day. Some finishing touches might be needed, and if so you'll be provided with guidance on final steps to ensure your piece is ready to display.
