Learn to work with metal clay, or develop your skills if you have dabbled before and then discover how to add colour to your pieces with enamel.
At the end of this full day course you will have two or three pieces of fine silver and enamel jewellery to take home with you. The morning will focus on using fine silver metal clay to create a number of pieces of jewellery - depending on size you may make two pendants or a pendant and earring set. These will be fired and polished and then in the afternoon I will show you the wet packing technique of applying vitreous enamel particles to your silver designs.
A range of blue, green and yellow transparent enamels will be available. Techniques such as graduation can be explored. All materials are covered in the cost and you will have all of the tools you need. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but you will need to bring your own lunch.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
