About the Course
Why not try enamelling in a fun, relaxed atmosphere? Suitable for those who have never enamelled before, and those whom may have, create a unique enamel picture that you can take home at the end of the session.
Complete beginners or intermediate enamellers welcome.
Enamelling is the application of powdered glass to metal and fired in a kiln to produce vitreous enamel. Different techniques are available to try, sifting, stencils work, embedding decorative media, wet packing and sgraffito.
Teresa will demonstrate and guide you through the all processes involved.
Throughout the session you will have a choice of different copper shapes and be able to produce a small picture, which you will be able to take home on the day.
Children above the age of 14 are welcome, however a paying adult must be present to help with kiln and other health and safety aspects.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
