Drawing and painting for pleasure with Carl March at Slapton Ley

Drawing and painting for pleasure with Carl March at Slapton Ley

About the Course

Whether you are taking up watercolour painting as a new hobby or need to augment your existing skills, this course will be ideal for you. Taking inspiration the Devon country side, the course will be a ‘step by step’ programme of daily exercises and demonstrations, designed to help and encourage complete beginners and more experienced painters.

Each daily exercise will have a clear aim or objective. With help and guidance our guests will be able to demonstrate their abilities by constructing several finished works using traditional watercolour painting techniques. Culminating in an end of course exhibition of their achievements.

I hope this does not sound too ‘academic’ or off putting, I appreciate this type of project requires careful handling. I honestly believe that students and holiday makers of all abilities are happier when stimulated. Such as learning new skills, achieving their goals and taking home a memento of the occasion. Above all having fun and enjoying themselves.
