Wire sculpture workshop in Sudbury. Join Beverley and learn to make a wire and gemstones sun-catcher. This workshop is suitable for beginners but can be as ornate or as simple as you wish depending on your crafting abilities. You will be shown techniques to attach gems and motifs to wire, how to strengthen wire and make coils and weaves. You will take your sun-catcher home at the end of the workshop.
The student will develop an understanding of how to wire wrap stones and gems to create pendants that can be worn on chains or other materials such as leather thongs, the student will use a range of hand tools and specialist jewellery tools.
