About the Course
Apologies in advance for mentioning anything that is even vaguely festive, but makers do need to plan ahead and create lovely festive opportunities for you.
To get your festive to do list firmly on track, join Liz Wellby at her Derbyshire studio in November and learn how to make beautiful birds using vintage papers and wire to decorate your home this Christmas. If you can part with them, they will make lovely gifts.
There’s every chance that your little flock of birds might keep you company throughout the winter months, as you just won’t want to them pack them away with all your other Christmas decorations.
There will be mince pies, candles, a cheerful hearth and jollity, in the manner of Hygge.
Liz will host the workshop at her home studio. The venue is beautifully presented with handcrafted workbenches and a wood burner, with views down into the village.

Enjoyed the day hugely - and even liked my little birds! I don't see myself as someone with craft skills, so that was an unexpected bonus! Great tuition from Liz, and loved the studio. Just need to upgrade the chocolate quotient on those biscuits......

Had a very enjoyable day and learnt a lot of new skills. Found Liz very knowledgeable and patient and together with her husband very hospitable. The studio was in a beautiful setting and was immaculate. I would definitely recommend doing one of her courses.
