Create beautiful paper sculpture in Derbyshire
Join Liz Wellby at her beautiful home studio on the edge of the Peak District, for a creative and relaxing day learning how to create a range of paper sculptures. Starting with simpler techniques and creating smaller pieces, you will gradually increase the complexity and scale, enabling you to take home a range of completed outcomes, that will take pride of place. This creative workshop is suitable for all abilities and those with a range of creative experiences. The Slipper Studio is beautifully presented with handcrafted workbenches, a wood burner and views down into the village. About the tutor Liz Wellby is a versatile and experienced artist, teacher and maker, with a particular interest in printmaking and sculpture. Following the completion of a Fine Arts degree at Loughborough University and subsequent post graduate studies, she returned to Derbyshire, where for over 25 years she has lived and worked. It is possible to arrange this workshop on different dates; should you wish to book 3 places for friends and family, the cost is £85 per person or £125 each for 2 people; please contact me via ‘message the tutor’, if this is of interest.
