Join me at The Slipper Studio on the edge of the Peak District for a relaxing and creative day.
Fine and flexible wire is a lovely material to work with, enabling you to create characterful objects, with a drawn-like quality to them and all without causing harm to your hands. You will learn how to create a range of small and decorative pieces of sculpture, which will take pride of place in your home.
We will aim to create 3 beautiful outcomes, exploring joining techniques, wrapping, shaping and sculpting wire, with a distinctly bird shaped theme.
This workshop will suit folks with experience of different creative processes and techniques.

Had a really lovely day with family. Liz was so welcoming, we felt immediately at ease and the studio is just beautiful. It was great to learn a new skill and Liz is an excellent teacher. We’re already planning what we can try next! Thank you :)
Response from Liz Wellby - Artist, Teacher & Maker:Hi Charlotte,
Engaging workshop in the tutor’s own home studio, lovely space and ambience. Liz is very supportive and encouraging and makes the course enjoyable for everyone, whatever their degree of ability. Small group of learners so as much individual support as needed and a very friendly atmosphere. An interesting and enjoyable day.
