Course Start DatesSaturday 8th February 2020
About the Course
Post Christmas and New Year, February can be a challenging time of the year and so is the perfect time to book a workshop and learn some new skills. Join me at The Slipper Studio on the edge of the Peak District for a relaxing and creative day.
Fine and flexible wire is a lovely material to work with, enabling you to create characterful objects, with a drawn-like quality to them and all without causing harm to your hands. You will learn how to create a range of small and decorative pieces of sculpture, which will take pride of place in your home.
We will aim to create 3 beautiful outcomes, exploring joining techniques, wrapping, shaping and sculpting wire, with a bird theme. Will yours have a Valentine flavour?
This workshop will suit folks with experience of different creative processes and techniques.
