"Great day learning the basics with Bob, very good communication before arrival giving very good directions to the workshop. The tuition was exceptional. Bob ensured I had something to take home with me and let me choose what to make. This course is ideal to anyone wanting to learn a new skill. Fish and chips at lunch wasn't bad either."

"My partner and I attended Kerry's candle business workshop today (24th March 22) and were so impressed by the depth of the course. We are complete beginners looking to start a small business and Kerry's knowledge and advice was absolutely invaluable. She walked us through the whole process and covered absolutely everything we would need to know to get started, as well as pitfalls to avoid. We left the workshop feeling so excited and motivated to get started, and our confidence was greatly boosted. The workshop was very well structured and organised, and we were made to feel so welcome in Kerry's beautiful home. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!"

"My husband, daughter and I spent a wonderful few hours with Lisa and Nic at their beautiful farm learning about sheep and more specifically their wool. Lisa taught us how to process the wool and then introduced us to needle felting. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we came away with felting kits and a whole unprocessed fleece courtesy of Springtime. Beautiful wool, from beautiful sheep and a new hobby for me. Thank you Lisa."

"I had booked this course originally for December but due to contact with Covid the course was rebooked for my daughter and son-in-law for March 19th, a few days after my daughter's birthday. Trisha was so obliging and without hesitation held the course open for them 3 monthss. They had a wonderful day with Trisha and a super lunch. The Little Pottery was welcoming and very well equipped. I shall look forward to going on a day's course myself with Trisha in 2023"

Eileen F. J. reviewed: Watercolours for beginners online course, by Sarah Colgate

"I had such a grand time following the beginner's Art Course, learning about different techniques and some I have never done before. It explains everything! I have really enjoyed the exercises, Sarah demonstrates clearly in her video U-tube which I have followed very carefully, able to pause when I needed to, rewind and watch again during my painting exercises. Sarah's feedbacks have been extremely helpful, giving solutions and advice along with encouragement and a "well done" which has given me confidence. I have put together a folder with the written instructions and including my weekly paintings so that I can refer back as I continue my journey into improving my Art! My family have shown a great interest in looking through my attempts at watercolours!! I highly recommend this course to those who have shown interest in painting but not sure where to start. Thank you Sarah!!"

Jack Smellie reviewed: Wool processing workshop

"I attended one of Lisa's courses with a friend and cannot recommend the course highly enough. Lisa was friendly, welcoming and enormously knowledgeable AND so so passionate about wool and all its uses. I learnt loads, came away far more confident and am now thoroughly enjoying my own wool journey with my own fleeces. These courses are such value for money and with a maximum of four attendees, you really do get individual attention and tuition! It was fabulous to meet individual sheep and learn how to assess their wool and then transfer that knowledge to the actual processing (carding, felting etc). This is a course that delivers everything it says and more."
