Description
This course is designed for first time epoxy users. We have been pouring live edge epoxy pieces and using resin long enough that it is time to share all of the secrets we have learned (the hard way) with you. Morning and Afternoon sessions are available. In this workshop, you will learn all about epoxy resin and how to use it with timber. Get creative and pour your very own unique live edge river pour. If you want to start making your own resin projects such as river tables, live edge artwork, live edge furniture or even epoxy resin coatings, then this is the course for you. We recommend you wear old clothes. Please be aware that Epoxy Resin takes about 7 days to fully dry and so you will not be able to leave with your piece on the day. Resin classes last approximately 2.5 hours. NB: We do not accept entry to our classes 15 minutes after the listed start date. This is to ensure our students have a lesson without disruption once the class has started. Our classes may take longer than the time stated. We can only estimate how long each class takes and we do not want to rush students. Please allocate additional time after the class in case they overrun. Thank you for your understanding and punctuality.

Richard has been teaching this intro class since 2018 after realising that all the challenges of working with epoxy resin were bound to be frustrating aspiring makers around the world as much as they were for him. After realising that working with epoxy resin was actually quite easy once you knew a few simple tricks and the basic principles, he started inviting you to join him in the workshop to master the tricks of the trade for yourself.
