Jude reviewed: Stacking ring making in the Vale of Clwyd

"What a thoroughly fabulous day with Lucy in her amazing studio! Lucy was very knowledgeable, patient and supportive from the initial ring sizing, through to designing, creating, resizing and finishing the beautiful stacking rings which will be used in my civil partnership ceremony next week. Three rings, each one unique, which represent myself, my son and my partner, as our little family becomes official. It was a truly magical experience transforming 3 plain straight 'lines' into textured and embellished shiny circles. The time flew by as a complete novice I tried new things and learnt new words / phrases.....who knew silver liked pickle!"

Angela reviewed: Polytunnel grow your own: productive, organic, year round food growing

"Kim is an excellent communicator and her passion for gardening more productively and in-tune with nature has given me many ideas for my own garden. I loved the fact that she catered for people with different levels of experience and gave everyone tips. It was a very relaxing day but my head was overflowing with ideas by the end of it. My window-sill at home is full of plants while I repair my polytunnel and I am very keen to try huegelkultur too. I would recommend this course to anyone with an interest in growing their own food and caring for the future of our planet."

Harry Allen reviewed: French Polishing & Woodcare - 2 Day Beginners/Intermediate Workshop

"Just completed a 3-day French Polishing course. Thoroughly enjoyable. Oliver gives clear instructions and keeps a close eye on what you are up to, checking your technique. He was able to help repair and replace bits from my piece that had fallen off or broken with age. Oliver was very knowledgeable and calmly explained the processes (more than once, as required!). As this is a teaching event, I would advise taking one complex piece requiring several different skills to be learned rather than several simpler pieces where fewer skills are repeated."
