Sarah reviewed: Saturday Art Club in West Worthing

"I love this club! It is an open workshop where the tutor Tricia is always ready to give me support with my project. I know I can take anything I'm working on and Tricia will be able to help me. She's so patient and knowledgeable. This month we also had the option to try Chinese Brush Painting. What a joy! We can even make requests for a specific demonstration or taster for next month. If you don't want a taught course, but would like some help or to chat with some lovely friendly Arty people then this is the course for you. I can book up when I need help, but now it's my monthly treat!"

Art with Tricia responded:

"Sarah, thank you s much for the lovely review. I'm glad your enjoying Saturday Art Club. I loved your Chinese Brush Paintings last week and I'm glad you are enjoying meeting other local Artists like yourself. :-) Don't forget, just email me to request the topic, medium or technique you would like to try next month."

Jacinta reviewed: Needle felt workshop

"I had a lovely morning learning needle felting with Yvonne. She is a really good teacher; she explained each stage of the process really well, was very encouraging and didn't rush us to finish. She was happy for the course to run over the expected finish time, so that we all completed our squirrels and were happy with what we made. I am now inspired to dig out the half finished needle-felting kit I gave up on some time ago. Doing a course with a good teacher really helps you learn a skill and you have someone to help you if you are unsure of how to do something. Thank you Yvonne and CraftCourses"

Needle Felt Art responded:

"Thank you so much Jacinta for such a thorough and positive review. I am so pleased you are now confident to felt your Gloucestershire Old Spot. It was fun felting with you, hope to see you again, Yvonne. "

Claire Parkin reviewed: Introduction to Leatherwork

"Thoroughly enjoyed my workshop and love the bag we made. Great teacher and so easy to chat to. So glad she had some spare reading glasses too as I realised I’d left mine at home! Cathy had some great suggestions and clearly has a great eye for detail. I’d love to come back and make something else! Will be recommending the course to all of my creative friends ?"

Catherine Edwards Leather responded:

"Aah, well you were easy and lovely to teach, so thankyou too!"

Helen Swain reviewed: Introduction to Ecoprinting

"This was a thoroughly enjoyable course. We packed so much into the 6 hours and learned lots of different printing techniques on various surfaces and fabrics. Fiona provided a clear and easy to follow step by step explanation for each technique and showed us what we could use to carry on ecoprinting ourselves at home if we wanted. No previous crafting or artistic experience was needed. The location was perfect with the tables well spaced and apart from the items Fiona asked us to bring, everything else was provided including a delicious lemon drizzle cake. Highly recommended."

Earthwise Ecoprints responded:

"Thank you for your lovely review Helen. It was lovely to meet you last Saturday and work with such a brilliant group. So pleased you enjoyed Ecoprinting- it is very addictive! Fiona x"

"Loved this class. Julie supplied everything we needed to make beautiful candles and melts, including dried flowers, glitter and scents. Had a lovely, relaxed few hours and copious amounts of tea (we were all tea bellies) from Jane (Julie's lovely assistant). Lunch was a lovely picnic box which included sandwiches, cake, savoury biscuits, yogurts, fresh fruit and fruit tarlets plus bottled water..... and more tea!! Would definitely recommend this course, not just for those wishing to start their own business but also those of us that just want to create candles and melts for family and friends - and ourselves."

Graham Parsons reviewed: Stained glass garden panel workshop - Hampshire

"From Rachel’s relaxed and supportive style to the quality of our finished colourful garden panel, I could not fault this experience! The first part teaches you the basic techniques of cutting leaf and glass. Then the creative part kicks in. An array of coloured and textured glass is available to choose from and Rachel is on hand with help and advice if you want it. Everyone leaves with a stunning robustly made finished piece which will last outside for years. I thoroughly recommend!"

"Sarah was very welcoming, accessible and professional at the Glass fusion with Enamels and Powders workshop. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and came away feeling I had learned so much and accomplished something. She met us at the level we were at, then encouraged us throughout to be creative on our own yet giving us assistance whenever we asked for it. The group was small enough to easily chat with each other and share ideas. Great fun. May 2022"

I didn't quite finish my hare as there is a lot to do during the day but I was really surprised that the workshop kit was ours to take home. This meant that I was able to take my time and finish off all the small details and I am really pleased with the finished hare. Thank you Shirley and Annis."
