"ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT TUTOR......even managed to teach me to crochet. Lovely relaxed small class. Merrian is a very patient and positive tutor, even though were all fingers and thumbs to start. By the end of the first session, Merrian had us all happily crocheting. Very easy to understand all written instructions. Videos were available for us to access most, if not all, of the techniques, in case we got stuck, or forgot, between sessions. I cannot recommend Merrian's courses highly enough...I really am totally HOOKED! "

"This was an excellent course. Cat, who hosted the course, was interesting and gave lots of information both oral and a very full written hand out. She talked us through the soap making process, then demonstrated, then helped the group make our own, giving us all a choice of what method we used and what perfume or pigment to use in our own soaps. It was a small group of us, 5, but the maximum in any group is 6 so there is never too many that you can't get Cat's attention. Breakfast and a light lunch were included along with hot drinks, which came from the fabulous Iford Manor Cafe, which were delicious. "

"Wonderful day! Thoroughly enjoyed myself and found it relaxing as I'd hoped. Fiona is so welcoming and calm. Her studio is lovely, full of inspiring prints , pictures and colour schemes. The process of creating your scarf is expertly explained and Fiona's guidance is knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. Lunch provided (which was delicious) plus tea and cake to keep you going. I'd definitely take part in another of Fiona's courses. Thank you."

"We signed up for course as two craft lovers with no artistic ability, hoping that we'd possibly manage some nice abstracts and enjoy trying something new. Phil was a great teacher and shared basic techniques for working with wax and heat. By the end of the day we had each created six very different pieces. Thanks to skill on Phil's part, and serendipity on ours, the results were great and we had a lot of fun in the process. "
