We now open from 12 April. I have put some available dates in but please select 'chat with the maker' to check with me first to see if they are still available (life has a habit of getting in the way!).
Our needle-felting workshops usually start at 10.00 am with an introduction to the tools and methods used in producing the pictures. This is followed by working on a miniature moorland picture using Merino wool fleece.
We then usually have a break for coffee and danish and then continue with a larger coastal scene. This picture introduces you to different types of fibre such as silk, yak and silk blends and merino and tensil.
By the end of the morning our aim is for you to produce two framed pictures for you to go home with.
There is an opportunity to purchase the tools you have been using at the end of the workshop as well as other materials.
Courses are held at mutually convenient days with a maximum of three students - Please select 'chat with the maker' to contact me before booking to agree a date.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Coffee, danish pastry, all materials, tools and frames.

A really enjoyable, relaxing and productive session! The 3 hours flew by, and I was so pleased with the outcome - two pictures which looked surprisingly professional for a first attempt! Pip was welcoming, patient and encouraging, thank you so much.

Had a great day with my friend in Pips needle felting course and finished two lovely pictures to go home with. A great course for any levels with a lovely professional lady. And lovely pastries and coffee as well
I attended Pip’s workshop with a friend, as complete novices to needle felt. Pip was superbly organised, encouraging and a great teacher. We accomplished lots; two finished pictures, (moorland and coastal) without feeling rushed- coffee and yummy break included! I would have no hesitation in recommending this workshop. It felt like a catch up with an old friend in her warm kitchen. I’m eager to try more needle felting. What a fabulous morning!
