Maker's bio

I started needle felting about five years ago when I bought a kit. That was a complete disaster and it went in the bin! I hope I have learned from that experience and can offer students needle felting picture workshops which explain, help and work towards the goal of completing work within the time frame and which are enjoyable and rewarding experiences.

"Thoroughly enjoyed my morning with Pip and was very pleased with the results of my morning’s work. I learnt a lot of techniques and good ideas to let me get started on my own. Can’t wait to do so. "

"I had a great morning with Pippa, she was patient and supportive. Pippa provided all the materials to make two small pictures which I took home, she also very kindly provided drinks and a snack! I would definitely recommend this course, Pippa gives you the knowledge and skills to have confidence to go on and develop a lovely therapeutic hobby."

"A great way to spend a few hours. Pippa’s instructions and demonstrations were well paced and simple to follow and my sister and I were thrilled with our finished pictures. I will definitely be having a go at making more at home, now I have some of the beautiful felting wool. (When finding the location-it really is down that narrow bumpy lane!) "

"My sister and I went on this course with our mum as part of her 80th birthday celebrations. We all really enjoyed it and were delighted with the two felted pictures we each took away. Pip was an excellent tutor. After explaining the basics, she showed us step-by-step how to felt our pictures and made sure we knew what we were doing (and advised us how to correct things when it wasn't quite right). I would thoroughly recommend."
