Acrylic skin paint pouring jewellery making for beginners - Make up to 10 pieces of one of a kind unique jewellery using the stained glass technique
Description
There is nothing wrong with off the shelf jewellery, but if you want to really make a statement then what better way to do it than making your own truely unique and one of a kind piece. During this course, you will get to make 10 pieces of jewellery of your choice from the many different styles and pieces to choose from. These pieces make the perfcet gifts, each one totally unique and made by you! The course will be split up into two 1.5 - 2 hour sessions hour sessions. The first session will be the messy half! You will explore on how to mix paints, followed by an explanation on how the chemical process works. Each person will be able to do a practice sheet, trying out the stained glass technique which will be demonstrated prior to this. Once everybody is happy with the art of the new technique, each person will be able to make two different acrylic skins using different colours. Each acrylic skin will measure approx 19cm x 14cm. The skins will require several days to completely dry. The second session will take place once the acrylic skins have completely dried. You will learn how to turn your acrylic skins into beautiful, one off jewellery creations! During your session you will be able to produce 10 different pieces of jewellery, with a choice of various necklaces, ear rings, rings, keyrings etc. Group rates are available - please get in touch Light refreshments will be included! :)
