"Where better to pick up basic blade smithing skills? Who better to teach you? Start here, trust me. I camped on-site my first night and took advantage of the great facilities. Was welcomed by Tom and the smell of coffee and fire. Put immediately at ease and before you know it, I had a piece of metal that resembled a blade! This experience flies by too fast, soak it in and enjoy it all. I’d be out there every weekend if I could. Tom’s knowledge of both metal and wood is inspiring. He sets you up with transferable techniques in a safe and fun experience, then encourages you to go home and take it further. I was gifted this for my birthday and was lucky enough to be joined by two like-minded guys, but this would be great for mate groups, parent/child pairs or anyone slightly interested in metal/blades and being outside. "

"What a fantastic day. Sarah was so accommodating and full of expertise. My daughter and I had a wonderful day learning how to create a mosaic, under Sarah’s watchful eye and helping hands. We experimented with the huge array of tiles, glass, ceramic pieces and came away with a wonderful mosaic. Complimentary home made cake, hot chocolates, tea and the calming peaceful surrounds of Sarah’s studio and garden made this a lovely experience. We thoroughly recommend. "

"I enjoyed a few hours being tutored by Hazel who has lots of energy and enthusiasm for graphite, as did I by the end of the session. Along with two other ladies, we were shown lots of techniques and examples of how to use graphite in a fun and interesting way. I can highly recommend attending one of Hazel’s workshops if you are already used to drawing and even if you have little experience of this medium or drawing in general, as in my case. It was very enjoyable and I would love to attend again in the future. "
