"Had the most wonderful day with Jo, (ably assisted by Andy), who ensured that not only did the seven of us come away with a hare to be proud of, but that we learned each technique as we went, so we can continue on our creative journeys! Jo's enthusiasm is boundless, even after a day of teaching; her understanding of what it takes to create every individual masterpiece feels so supportive and does much to bolster confidence. The venue is just sublime, with paths that one can walk barefoot, to secret places in the garden, to soak up the beautiful energy. This adds to the inspiration! What was so special about this course is the attention to every detail, from creating to suppliers information. I left feeling that the day was just the start of my new found craft, confident enough to continue making more hares at home. In all, a truly positive experience! "

I arrived, somewhat stressed from a certain situation and felt happily embraced by the tranquility of this very special location and by the warmth of the course leaders and fellow participants. Whittling wood together round the charcoal burner, trying drawing techniques which were either new to me, or out of my regular comfort zone, leading me to come away feeling that existing skills had been extended or reinforced. Friendly chats, fascinating stories told by fellow artists, all lead by the thoroughly knowledgeable and experienced course teachers- Kim and Mark. Nourished with a hearty lunch by Christina. What more to add, so glad to have met you all, hope we stay in touch. Great day, thank you so much!"

"I’ve just returned from an amazing day learning the skills to sculptor a hare. This one day course was jam packed with all the information and tools to create your own unique piece to take home. Jo the tutor, is not only inspiring, but particularly skilled at coaching and guiding you through all of the steps and processes needed. There were seven of us in the workshop, which worked so well. The location is beautiful and inspiring. Book this course - you won’t be disappointed and you will have your own unique sculptor to treasure for years to come!"

I actually managed to create a deer that looked like one. Everyone's deer was individual and they all looked amazing. The setting was brilliant and to see them all together at the end of the day was fab. I wouldn't hesitate to go to one of Jo's courses again. Absolutely brilliant."

"A brilliant course. Kevin was a great tutor - friendly, clear, supportive and let the attendees gain skills. The resulting coracle is a thing of such delight, surprisingly strong, and surprisingly large. You might need to strap it to the roof of your car unless you drive a van! The location was great, interesting, dry, well run, with great home made soup and bread and loads of tea and coffee. A great couple of days, highly recommended."
