"Well, I’m very pleased with the stork that I made with the help of Kate & I think I learnt something. The course was in a lovely garden & it was nice to spend a day outside. I may have learnt more. I didn’t always quite understand what I was aiming for. The group was 1/2 inside & 1/2 out ( people’s choice). It may be that had we all been pulled together for what to do at the next step or all in 1 place we could have learnt more from each other & heard more advice given to others. Sometimes work had to be undone as progression had gone too far when left to one’s self. But all in all I’m very pleased with my sculpture"

"Absolutely superb day yesterday on this introductory course. Tom’s energy and enthusiasm is infectious and, combined with his knowledge (and good-humoured patience!) made for a really enjoyable and educational experience. Tom explained and demonstrated the use of the forge, tools and materials clearly and effectively - he made it look so easy… He provided a glimpse of this highly skilled and demanding craft, gently guiding the creation of some really pleasing pieces of ironwork Despite my general lack of coordination! . I really can’t recommend Tom, or this course too highly. "

"I had a fantastic day. For me, it was something very different and I really enjoyed doing something practical. Dave was really patient and guided my friend and I through every step. I really appreciated how he showed us what to do then let us get stuck in (but was there if we needed help!). At the end of the day, I had a beautiful kitchen knife to bring home - it works too! "

"We both had a fantastic time on the felting 2 day workshop. It was very relaxing and we learnt so much. The different types of sheep and the different wool types wow! Josephine was very clear with instructions and very supportive in helping us create our felted pictures. The whole process was very therapeutic and enjoyable. We would like to frame our pictures and we are definitely looking to book on to another workshop. "

"I attended Kate's course never having done it before. From start to finish I had a brilliant day. As it was a sunny day we had the choice of working inside the workshop or outside in the garden. A lovely lunch was provided and plenty of drinks. The course was to make a sculpture so I chose a heron. I was very pleased with how it turned out and Kate guided us all through the different stages. I met some lovely people and thoroughly enjoyed the day. I just need to decide where to put in my garden now, Thank you Kate and Dave for a lovely day."

My first time ever, using a potter’s wheel and something I had always wanted to do- a bucket list experience ticked off!
