The course for a maximum of four people is held in my lovely studio which is in the historic Birchcliffe Centre nestled above Hebden Bridge near woodland. You will be able to make an 'Enchanted Woodland’ scene. It will be wet felted and embellished into a fully finished large picture (approx 40 x 40cm) similar to the one pictured. Overview of the Two day course: Day One: 10.30 - 5pm approx: Full instructions and demo on how to make the wool background, choosing colours, blending, layering a range of wool and some plant fibres to build up the picture. Followed by wet felting. Day two: 10.30 - 4pm approx Embellishment of your now dry felted picture using needle felting techniques and hand embroidery to create textures, flowers wildlife etc. Plus tips and ideas for mounting your completed felted picture at a later stage ready for framing or display as a wall hanging. Please note that this is a 2-day course but only Day 1 shows as available in the calendar. Just book a place on this date, and it will include the full 2-day course i.e. 2 consecutive days.
