*** Due to coronavirus, I am sorry all workshops are on hold though I am happy to book a tentative date for when we are free! (I already have some ladies booked in for November and December!
In the meantime, please check out my other listings for Workshops in a Wallet, the first of which are Fun with Felt Flowers at Home and Gone to Seed at Home, covering much of what you would learn with me here in West Horsley. And while I won't be able to answer queries as they arise, I will be happy to answer emailed questions if you have any as you progress through the workshop instructions or you can telephone me between 9.30am and 4pm. These Wallets also include a voucher towards doing the workshop with me at a later date. Please click on 'See more from this course organizer' button below.
Stay safe - life will eventually return to some sort of normality!
Fun with felt flowers gives beginners all the basic information to learn felting around a resist. In the three and a half hours, students will make two different flowers, using different techniques, along with different centres.
Workshops start at 10am. I only teach up to five students at a time unless a group is booked (maximum 10) but I can also travel within 20 miles if someone wants a group of friends (minimum 5 participants) in their own house or school. Fabulous idea for a hen party!
Please note I cannot teach children without a responsible adult accompanying them.
If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All materials are included and brooch pins/necklace ribbons for the finished flowers. Additional small packs of felt will be available at a nominal cost
Tea and coffee are included.
There is a reliable taxi service from Horsley station for about a fiver or I can collect just 3 people!
I had an absolutely great time on this course. Nancy is an excellent teacher and explained all the techniques in a clear and simple way. I was delighted with the 2 flowers that I made and I am looking forward to trying to make more on my own.
