Loving Lavender gives beginners all the basic information to learn felting around a resist and is an ideal project to start you on a feltmaking journey. In the three and a half hours, students will make two lovely hearts to keep or give as gifts. Of course, you don't need to add a lavender scent - you could just choose your favourite!
Workshops start at 10am. I can teach up to nine people here and I can also travel within 20 miles if someone wants a group of friends (minimum 5 participants) in their own house or school. Fabulous idea for a hen party! Please note, though, I do charge mileage. If you have a larger group (say WI or class parents) I am happy to run workshops for up to 20 people in your own venue.
My workshops are not timetabled, so there is a great deal of flexibility on dates - just get in touch and we'll sort out a day to suit us both!
Please also check out my other listings for Workshops in a Wallet. These include Fun with Felt Flowers, Loving Lavender and Gone to Seed at Home, covering much of what you would learn with me here in West Horsley, as well as newer workshops - Creepies and Crawlies.
While I won't be able to answer queries as they arise, I will be happy to answer emailed questions if you have any as you progress through the workshop instructions or you can telephone me between 9.30am and 4pm.
Please note I cannot teach children without a responsible adult accompanying them and both must be booked on the course.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials including templates, wool fibres, ribbons and stuffing for your hearts (lavender scent is not included)
Teas and coffees
Collection at Horsley station for up to 3 people if required
