"I spent a wonderful day with Ian, learning about some of the history of woodworking crafts and being shown some of the old-style tools used. I then practiced skills that would be used later in the day by making an ash mallet, before moving on to the main theme of making a beautiful greenwood stool from elm and ash. My woodworking skills are very limited, but despite this I was able to produce a piece of furniture that I am proud of with Ian’s expert guidance. Thoroughly recommended."

"Kadri runs such a lovely crochet course! My daughter and I went along as complete beginners, and we both absolutely loved it. Kadri was so patient and encouraging, explaining everything clearly and helping us whenever we got stuck. The class had such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere — it was a perfect way to spend some creative time together. And the homemade cakes were just the icing on the cake (literally!) — so delicious and made the afternoon feel extra special. We left feeling really proud of what we’d made and inspired to keep going at home. I’d highly recommend Kadri’s course to anyone, whatever your age or experience — it’s such a joyful and welcoming experience!"

"Very friendly welcome to a warm room with a wide choice of hot drinks. Just needed to turn up as all the rest was provided. I’ve been crocheting on and off since childhood but I’m pleased I’ve not only got some confidence back but also learned new things; The importance of counting stitches and how to make a smooth edge! There was no rush, loads of encouragement and not to forget the yummy cakes Kat made. We left with a lovely pumpkin and a detailed pattern for making the next one. "

"This is a fantastic course! I highly recommend it. I have a new found appreciation for the proper craft of making a frame from scratch. We didn’t work with pre-made wood for frames, we made the whole thing from scratch and got to choose the wood we used, from a big selection. Vas was absolutely brilliant at explaining everything and making sure we were comfortable using the power tools. Everything was brilliantly explained. Vas was able to correct the few mistakes we made (whoops, bad measuring) with ease - like a true craftsman. Myself and my lovely course mate walked away with marvellous frames that we could say we made ourselves. A really enjoyable couple of days. Thanks, Vas! :) (p.s, there’s a lovely coffee shop on site too, perfect for the lunch break!) "

"This is a super one day course which I would recommend to anyone who likes crafts. I had never done any weaving before, but brought home a pretty, woven, landscape picture which is good enough to frame. Alana is a fabulous teacher, kind and encouraging, and she taught us various weaving techniques, and provided a great assortment of beautiful and colourful yarns. The day was a lot of fun, spent with a lovely group of people, most total beginners like me, all very relaxed, with a lot of laughter, and endless cups of tea as well as cake. I purchased a loom from Alana and can't wait to give it a go at home. "

"What a lovely way to spend a couple of hours and great value for money. All of the resources were available. The artist was extremely knowledgeable, patient and made you feel at ease. The venue was comfortable enough with a cafe, however, you had to go outside to the toilets. I would definitely recommend the glass painting. "
