"What a fabulous day - sculptural woodcarving with hand tools, eccentric whittling course in Sheffield with Jason…never done anything like this before and always wanted to have a go. Jason explained the tools before we started and was on hand all the time to help or guide you 🤩…I decided to do a turtle 🐢..thought was a bit ambitious when started it 😜.. but I came away with my piece of art work at the end of the day and was chuffed to bits …. Would recommend this workshop …very relaxed … very friendly and Jason is a very experienced knowledgeable Sculpture 😁🦋"

"What a fabulous day, participating in a wreath-making workshop in the beautiful barn at The Land in early December. Everything we used had been grown on the Land - including the willow, which we twisted into shape, and were shown how to add dried flowers and fresh greenery, to make stunning, unique festive wreaths. The barn was heated by a wood-fired stove, which also cooked our vegetarian lunch. There was a lovely informal atmosphere, and much fun was had. We all left, triumphant, with our handiwork. "Very enjoyable workshop in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Suzy provides all tools and materials with a wide choice of patterns and colours. She makes the book alongside the learners, providing clear instructions and offering individual help as needed. We all completed our notebooks and brought home detailed instructions to make more at home. Suzy also supplies cake, biscuits and hot drinks. Highly recommended."

"Made a gorgeous sunshine-coloured footstool yesterday, and amazingly not even aching (too much) today! Lucy is a patient teacher, and has lots of tips and advice for anyone trying upholstery as something new, or those wanting to have a go re-upholstering pieces. It's a small group, so there's time for everyone's queries and I was so pleased to be able to take home something I had made. So, in short, personally rewarding plus ginger biscuits provided. What's not to love?"

"What an amazing day my daughter and I had at Ali's Vintage Christmas Crafts. It was a lovely atmosphere with everything there to complete the projects. Ali's ideas were brilliant, not complicated (very good for me) and Ali was clear in her instruction and very helpful. It was a lovely group, tea and coffee available and very relaxed even though we made several projects. It was also excellent value for money. I have signed up to do next Saturdays Glass Fused Light and I cannot wait. I am so glad I have someone like Ali nearby and can attend her workshops. "
